We can end the indefinite detention of migrants in the UK

The UKs policy of indefinite detention is extreme, but many people don’t know it’s happening.

25,000 migrants are locked up every year with no time limit. Even torture and trafficking survivors are swept up into detention centres.

This is part of the Hostile Environment - in most cases, detention serves no purpose.

The good news is – an end to indefinite detention is in sight, for the first time.
